Douglas E. Howe is a 25-year veteran of successful new business start-ups, both inside large public companies as well as independent commercial enterprises. He specializes in strategic marketing, business development and general management to successfully launch new businesses and deliver strong revenue and profit gains in established companies. He holds a BA in Languages from Defiance College and an MBA in Marketing from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is a former jet attack pilot with the U.S. Navy, having accumulated 185 combat missions, over 300 carrier landings and achieved the rank of Lt. Commander.
Mr. Howe's purpose is to bring timely and practical advice to independent business owners in Ventura, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara counties.
Mr. Howe is an Adjunct Professor of Marketing at Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business and Management in Malibu, California.
